DAC is a referral-driven e-commerce app for Ayurvedic and supplement products, built for retailers who buy through and grow a 3-level referral network. Every purchase in the network pays out an instant percentage commission up the referral chain, and retailers can browse their own downline, track sales and earnings at each level, shop products, and follow orders through to delivery.
A referral commerce model needs the commission math to be transparent and instant, not just accurate: retailers need to see who they've referred at each of three levels, how much each level is selling, and how much they've earned from it — as it happens, not in a delayed statement. On top of the referral engine, the app still needed to be a complete shopping experience: browsing, cart, checkout, payment, and order tracking, for both Android and iOS.
We built a React Native and TypeScript app on a Node.js and MongoDB backend that models the 3-level referral tree per retailer, tracking direct and indirect members separately at each level. On every purchase, the commission engine calculates and credits the referral percentage up the chain immediately, and retailers can drill into each level to see its own sales and earnings breakdown. The app layers a full commerce flow on top — product catalogue, cart, and an integrated Razorpay payment gateway — plus order status tracking, with referral payouts to direct and indirect referrers finalized once an order is marked delivered. Monthly and yearly sales milestones are tracked per retailer, unlocking company-sponsored gifts as they're hit.
